The table can be matched with the Pavilion desk to provide a cohesive design experience, and cable management can be easily inserted into the table due to the location of the stretcher. Pavilion’s tabletop is offered in three options – black lacquered oak; lacquered oak; and lacquered walnut – while the base comes in matt black or chrome. 

The langelinie Pavilion, which overlooks Copenhagen’s waterfront, was destroyed several times before it was eventually rebuilt in the 1950s by architect couple Eva and Niels Koppel. An homage to the modernist movement, the Koppels’ creation was a cubic-shaped, glass-fronted building that embraced a stark, minimalist aesthetic. For Anderssen & Voll, Pavilion’s distinctive architecture provided rich inspiration for their furniture series. 

The chair’s airy feel and graceful lines have been mirrored in the subsequent pieces that have followed, from a small and slender desk, to a versatile table with a mid-century feel. Both desk and table feature a rectangular surface supported by bent steel tubes that curve down into splayed legs.
