Optimizing functional spaces is one of the key aspects of the design of a dining table. Mikado is the result of a search to find a balance between functionality and stability. Alain van Havre created a design with legs that flow inwards that reach their opposite corner in the center. The Mikado dining table combines a strong character with sculptural lightness. This became a design that feels light and solid at the same time.
