Designed by Danish designer Jonas Trampedach, Type Chair’s name and aesthetics are derived from the perception of an archetypal chair. Type’s distinctively shaped back gives it a uniform sculptural expression that reinforces the chair’s sense of familiarity while retaining its own unique character. Lightweight and stackable, Type’s functionality, simplicity, and homogeneous quality make it easy to integrate into a wide assortment of indoor and outdoor contexts.

CUSHION OPTIONAL | Adding extra comfort and functionality to the Type Chair, the Type Cushion has a rectangular shape that fits the seat perfectly. The padded cushion features an anti-slip bottom to keep it securely in place. The fabric has a water-repellent finish and has a high UV resistance, meaning it is fade-resistant with good colour fastness properties.
