Inspired by the power of shapes and how they impact their surroundings, the Slant lamp by the Japanese design team Branch features a bold graphic aesthetic that takes ownership of the space it occupies. It consists of a simple, slanted cylindrical form with a weighted base to maintain the perfectly balanced angle; all components are hidden inside to retain the clean, elemental silhouette. Made of aluminum with a wet-spray satin finish to create a smooth surface, it uses a standard retro-fit bulb, hidden behind the lamp's acrylic diffuser, which softly distributes the light. Available in several color options, the sculptural design and functional directional light of Slant make it suitable for a variety of home and office environments.
