The Pao lamp collection is an exciting collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Named after the soft, glowing shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents, Pao is inspired by Fukasawa's aesthetic of beautiful simplicity, creating an everyday object that draws inspiration from design values found in the natural world. By maintaining a modest and simple aesthetic, it harmonizes the design with its surroundings. Both the base and the lamp shade are made of durable polycarbonate with a soft, glossy finish. The lamp's light source is hidden inside the shade, behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser, providing efficient downward diffused light with a warm, homely glow. Its compact, battery-powered design allows the lamp to be moved to different rooms in the house, or taken to the garden and other outdoor spaces.
