Normann Copenhagen presents the Acrobat Table Lamp lamp
Acrobat is an oblong table lamp with a playful, pleasant and futuristic touch. The French designer Marc Venot has created an innovative lamp that can be placed both vertically and horizontally in a large number of positions. The transparent front part has a matt finish that allows Acrobat to spread a soft and diffuse light, so it is ideal to create a quiet and welcoming atmosphere.
The lamp consists of two parts: a cone-shaped base and an LED light source that stays together with magnets. This allows Acrobat to adopt almost magical positions that surprise the viewer and question the traditional idea of an adjustable lamp. Acrobat has a minimalist expression and its intelligent design implies that it can be used as a form of both direct and indirect lighting. Acrobat is suitable as a desktop lamp or to create environmental lighting, depending on how the lamp is placed on its base.
Marc Venot says, "An acrobat is someone who can do extraordinary things without losing balance. Looks like he's gonna fall in a given moment, but he doesn't. Play with gravity itself, leaving the observer fascinated and surprised. This is the kind of effect I wanted to create with this lamp. My greatest hope is for the user to experience the same fascination, and feel like touching and understanding the lamp. "
Acrobat It is available in four colors inspired by nature. Grey, black, sand and a deep eggplant, the lamp is an excellent way to add color to the home.
