Knit Coat Rack

Designed by Japanese designer Jin Kuramoto, Knit is a simple and iconic coat rack with a distinctive sculptural design.

Composed of three powder-coated steel tubes that are interconnected in a three-dimensional way, the tubes are securely "interwoven" to support each other and create the strength of the body.

Inspired by the tactile experience of touching materials and the experimental processes of bending and weaving metal rods and cords, Knit was developed as an extension of HAY's wardrobe and garment hanging options in a flat-pack design that is easy to assemble.

With a high-gloss finish that creates a lustrous effect, Knit can be used to add functionality and visual interest to hallways, bedrooms, and other private or public areas.
