Korpus Shelf is a series of colorful wall shelves created for HAY by Norwegian product designer Andreas Bergsaker. Born from a desire to create a durable, multi-purpose shelf from recyclable material, Korpus Shelf is made from aluminum sheet, known for its lightness, strength, and ability to be reused countless times. The aluminum undergoes an industrial stamping and die-cutting process to shape the column and top, which feature a characteristic curve. Lock-shaped grooves on the back facilitate assembly, while hidden hooks in the column offer additional hanging possibilities. Available in a wide range of sizes and colors, these versatile shelves can be used in many rooms of the house, as a coat rack in the hallway, for storing kitchen utensils, hanging bathroom towels, or displaying ornaments in the living room.
